--Soften the facial hair by wetting your face thoroughly with lukewarm water before beginning.
--Make sure to use a sharp razor to help prevent nicks and irritation to your sensitive skin.
--Use a light touch when shaving so you do not irritate your skin. Let the weight of the razor itself do the work for you. And by the way, get a really good safety razor.
--Do not try to "shave off" the acne. This could make your acne worse.
--Try using soaps that you mix up with a badger-hair shaving brush in a mug (The old fashioned kind). Just lather up let it set a few minutes, lather again and shave.
---Go with the grain of the hair instead of against it. True, you probably won't get as close of a shave but your skin may thank you for it.
