Nutritional Supplements
Because of our often imperfect diets there is a growing awareness of our need for nutritional supplements. There is also scientific knowledge to suggest that we can not get everything we need in our diets alone. Helping your diet with a multi-vitamin is a great choice for helping to relieve your skin of some of its dry skin problems. --Vitamin A helps to maintain skin tissue.--Vitamin B helps repair the skin. The two of these together are vital for skin hydration. --Vitamin C aids in the production of collagen.--Vitamin E conditions the skin. Added to these you need Omega-3 oils. This can be obtained through fish oil or flax seed oil pills. Some MODERATE sun exposure can also do wonders for your skin. This aids in the production of Vitamin D. Catch some rays in the early morning or evening sun. Stay out of the sun the rest of the time or wear sunscreen. Take a supplement every day to get the essential nutrients to support your dry skin. --Consult your physician for an analysis to see if you are extremely deficient in any particular area. --Sleep. This is needed to repair and rest your mind and body. --Exercise. It will improve circulation and blood flow to the skin. You are not training for a marathon (if you are disregard this), so don't act like it. Go to your local pound, rescue a dog from certain death, buy a leash, and go for a 30 to 60 minute walk with him/her every day. --Make some small changes in your diet. Eat more fish and vegetables, add some fruit for snacks instead of that junk food you usually eat. --One person suggested drinking a mixture of watercress, tomato juice, carrot and spinach juice with a little wheat germ, and a little yeast every morning. I don't know about you but that would certainly ruin my day! Please! No Way! I would rather get my supplements delivered from the nutritional supplements manufacturer---and have them arrive right at my front door. If you are interested in a recommendation of the supplements I personally use fill out the form.
