Dry Skin Care
Your dry skin requires extra care. Try these dry skin care basics to give it the attention it deserves to improve its appearance.
Face Cleansing
1. Remove eye makeup. Use a cotton ball or a soft cotton cloth and moisturizing cream and gently remove makeup from eye area. You don't want to damage the delicate skin around your eyes. If you use waterproof makeup you may need to use an oil based cleanser to remove it.

2. Use lukewarm water (never hot! This is a dry skin care no, no) to cleanse your face. Hot water can further dry out your skin. 3. Don't use soap. Soaps strip the oil from your skin helping to further dry it out. A mild face cleanser labeled as such would be a better choice. 4. Say NO to irritating additives. Avoid product additives such as dyes and perfumes. 5. Wash gently using your fingertips. 6. Rinse thoroughly, pat dry with soft towel. 7. Now, apply moisturizer (or
Na-PCA
then moisturizer) to your clean, still damp, face. Skip the astringent as it is too drying. 8. You are now ready to apply your makeup. Watch again for any irritating additives. --In addition you may need to exfoliate one or two times a week with a gentle exfoliating cream.

--A face mask for dry skin is a care basic and should be used at least one time a week. --Be sure your moisturizer includes sunscreen. This is basic to all skin care. --Don't neglect your lips.

Body Cleansing
Just as your face required extra attention because of its dry skin condition so does your body. Here are the basics for hygienic care.1. Shower in lukewarm water. Hot water will strip your skin of oils and further aggravate your dry skin. 2. Use a mild cleanser. Anti-bacterial soaps and fragranced soaps are too harsh. Be gentle with your skin. Do Not scrub it. 3. Keep your shower short. And, consider showering every other day for your skin's sake. Using your mild cleanser and water in only your groin area, arm pits, feet, hands, and neck is another option. 4. Rinse off the cleanser thoroughly. 5. Towel yourself dry. Remember gently pat dry. 6. Apply moisturizer (or Na-PCA then moisturizer) to your still damp skin. This will help to trap the moisture in. --In addition you could add some powdered dry milk to lukewarm bath water. Remember to keep it short. --Or grind up some oatmeal in your food processor to add to your bath water if you are feeling itchy. --And one last basic skin care tip. Make sure to use products that do not contain any dyes or perfumes.
--Don't neglect your cracked heels!
